There is a proven link between
drug and alcohol use and motor vehicle collisions and traffic offences.
This section of the Program aims
to:
Provide information on drug and
alcohol use and its relation to traffic collisions and offences.
Explore with participants the
risk associated with drug use and the use of a motor vehicle.
Introduce participants to some
practical skills which will assist them in reducing
the harm associated with drug and alcohol use when using a motor vehicle.
Give information on Alcohol and
other Drug Services available in the area.
